Rules of Sudoku

1. Put one of the numbers 1 through 9 in each of the empty squares.
2. Each number can only appear once in a row.
3. Each number can only appear once in a column.
4. Each number can only appear once in a 3 by 3 square.

Instructions

Press the "New Puzzle" button or refresh your web browser window to play a new puzzle.

Choose between four difficulty level, "Very Easy", "Easy", "Medium", and "Hard", using the select button on the far right. A new puzzle begins when you change the difficulty level.

Pressing the "Check Puzzle" button at any time shows how well you are doing by changing the color of the numbers in your puzzle. Correct answers appear in blue and incorrect answers appear in red.

Hints

Our hints are different from many other versions of Sudoku. We let you get the correct answer to a square that you choose! Simply place the cursor in the square you want solved, press the "Get Hint" button, and we'll fill in the correct answer. Pretty cool huh!!
